Colleen Homer joins Dammeron Valley Fire & Rescue as EMS Educator

DVFR welcomes another new volunteer member with Colleen Homer joining the department in the role of EMS Educator. Homer, who previously volunteered with the department as an instructor beginning in 2018, brings more than six years of emergency medical experience to her new role educating DVFR's growing team of EMTs.

Homer is a full time Paramedic for Gold Cross, where she has worked for three years. Gold Cross provides emergency medical transport for Washington County and works closely with DVFR on medical calls requiring transport to St. George Regional Hospital.

Originally from Arizona, Homer has been a resident of Dammeron Valley for two years and lives with her husband, three dogs, and five horses. In her free time she enjoys spending time outdoors, camping, riding horses, and traveling.

Please join us in welcome Colleen Homer to the department. Our entire service area will benefit from her expertise and experience, and we're happy to have her on our growing team!
