Dammeron Valley Fire & Rescue is pleased to announce Ryan D'Ambrosio has joined the department as a Fire Captain. Captain D'Ambrosio brings 10 years of experience to Dammeron Valley and will be a key asset in the continued growth and advancement of DVFR. Originally from Las Vegas, Captain D'Ambrosio's entry into the fire service started while he was still in high school as a Fire Explorer. He is currently a Firefighter for Cedar Mountain Fire Department and will split his time between his current obligations and Dammeron Valley.
As part of the department's continued mission to provide the best possible service and response to Dammeron Valley and the surrounding communities, Captain D'Ambrosio's training and experience will be leveraged to improve the training and operations of DVFR. Our new Captain's certifications include Firefigher I & II, Wildland Firefighter II, Advanced EMT (AEMT), Hazmat Operations and Awareness, and Swift Water Tech.
